Gunville House B&B was definitely worth the money - a charming location in the English countryside, a peaceful room with a comfy bed, and a delightful garden view during breakfast. Tessa and Rupert, the owners, were welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel breakfast menu could have been improved by offering a cooked breakfast option.

Gunville House B&B provided a relaxing and comfortable stay in a lovely private home. The owners were courteous and welcoming, ensuring that we felt right at home. They were excellent communicators, giving us thorough instructions and introductions to the room and facilities. We were impressed with the attention to detail, from the comfortable bed with all the expected amenities to the extensive range of complimentary toiletries in the excellent bathroom. The highlight, however, was the delicious breakfast served in the beautiful conservatory overlooking the magnificent garden. It was accompanied by homemade jams that were simply divine.
Nothing to improve; all was perfect.

The stay at this B&B was absolutely delightful! The serene and quiet countryside location was exactly what I needed to relax and unwind. The hosts were charming and made me feel right at home. The breakfast served in the light and airy conservatory was a highlight, with a delicious cooked-to-order meal to start my day off right. I also loved the beautiful private garden, it was the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the scenery.
If I had to nitpick, the only downside was that the power of the shower was a bit weak. However, this was a minor issue and didn't really detract from my overall experience.

The breakfast was decent and helped us start our day on a good note, it was inclusive of a good variety of items. Also, the room had a decent space and was well ventilated. The location was slightly off the main road which is just what one might be looking for if wanting to avoid noise and busy traffic.
We were quite disappointed with the entire stay. The hotel staff was not polite and welcoming, which created an uninviting environment. Additionally, the amenities provided were outdated and not well-maintained. The bath towels had peculiar stains and the Wi-Fi connectivity was severely lacking. Also, the hotel was not very well located, and we had issues with commuting to different places due to a lack of public transport. All in all, we wouldn't recommend this hotel for business travelers.
